“Wildflower Ridge” is inspired by the remote backcountry lodge, Selkirk Mountain Experience (SME), a place I’ve been lucky to visit a few times for special celebrations. The trails wind through meadows full of wildflowers, with the peaks of the Selkirks rising beyond. The warmth of the lodge, the thoughtful staff, and the simple joy of being out on these trails all come together in this painting, celebrating the beauty and quiet magic of time spent in these stunning mountains.
