“View From the Top”: original acrylic painting, framed 8x10.
The view from the crux of one of my all time favourite hikes in the whole world, Tent Ridge Horseshoe. My dad and I met up to do this hike together, but it was the summer of 2020 and my lung disease was not doing well (a simple cold led me to 2 weeks in the hospital…) and I was extremely cautious. My dad and I did this hike together, but we drove separately and kept a bit of distance from each other during the hike. I set up my camera on timer to take some photos of us and apparently set it to take like 20 photos… about 15 clicks in we were laughing so hard - which made for truest the best and most authentic picture I may have of us, perfectly capturing an absolutely incredible day bonding in the most beautiful spot.
